THIS WEEK I LEARNED

We want each child to know they are loved, valued and safe in our ministry. One of the ways we do this is by following our group promises. Please take time to review it with your child before class so that they understand the expectations. We will:  

• Listen when others are speaking and wait our turn to share  
• Keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves  
• Use calm, walking feet to move around the room  
• Use kind and encouraging words  
• Follow directions and make safe choices  

Today in Nursery and in Godly Play, we are finishing our lessons that helped prepare us for Easter by learning about the final  days of Lent and Palm Sunday. Each week we have been using the “Faces of Jesus” Godly play lesson plan.

The Chapel Singers are singing in worship today as we celebrate Palm Sunday!

In chapel today, the children we used our time for a last minute rehearsal before heading down to sing during the offertory.

In our sensory-friendly service, we hear about Paul’s story from the book of Acts 27–28. In this story of about Paul, we learn that he who survives the storm and arrives in Rome, where he preaches freely, trusting that God is with him wherever he goes.
