Children's Ministry at WPC
We want each child to know they are loved, valued and safe in our ministry. One of the ways we do this is by following our group promises. Please take time to review it with your child before class so that they understand the expectations. We will:
- Listen when others are speaking and wait our turn to share
- Keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves
- Use calm, walking feet to move around the room
- Use kind and encouraging words
- Follow directions and make safe choices
NURSERY & GODLY PLAY
This Sunday we join with Christians around the world in celebrating World Communion Sunday. It is a reminder that no matter where we live, what language we speak, or how different our traditions may be, we are all part of one family in Christ. As we share communion together, we remember that God’s love connects us across every boundary and gathers us into one table of grace.
Children are encouraged to bring something from another country to show others as we pray for our brothers and sisters around the world.

CHAPEL
Today we learned all about why we, as a family of God, celebrate a special Sunday called World Communion. When all of God’s family comes together at the table to share in the meal given to us by God. Christians all around the world share communion today remembering that God is the host. God does the inviting. God remembers us and picks us to get the invitation to attend God’s meal. We remember all the Christians across the entire world celebrating that we all are welcomed at God’s table and that we should always welcome others to this special table.
MUSIC
We sing our first song of the year in the 10:30 service! Great job chapel singers!
