Who we are
At Westminster, we exist to show people love and teach them to do the same. There are too many places in this world that expect us to be flawless and have all the answers, but we’ve tried to accept the fact that God doesn’t need perfection from us. God wants faithfulness and love.
Because of how God’s Grace has impacted our lives, we work every day to try and respond in gratitude. That begins on Sundays when we gather together to sing praises to God, hear the ancient stories of scripture, and ask God to fill us with grace and peace as we join in the work of bringing love and justice the world.
We gather with one another throughout our weeks to learn from each other, to encourage one another, and to help and support each other when life becomes big and hard. We support those experiencing grief and loss, and we celebrate with those who are living through life’s joys.
But we don’t just do this among ourselves. We seek out ways to bring that love and grace to our neighborhood, our city, and the world. We try to serve the world in all its places of brokenness and need.
At our core, we’re just trying to love God and love people. Simple as that.
