The Missions Committee of Westminster Presbyterian Church is seeking nominations to celebrate Servant Leaders in our midst, those whose leadership consists of serving the needs of others.
A servant leader often exhibits the following characteristics:
- sensitivity to the needs of others
- brings out the best in others
- mentors others and encourages their self-expression
- facilitates personal growth in those who work with them
- focuses on achieving common goals
- does the unexpected
- challenges the status quo in striving to find new directions
- upholds and supports the values of Grace, Peace, Love, and Justice
